Overseas Americans Week
A week of "door-knocking" in Washington
11 to 15 April 2011

Overseas Americans Week is an annual program now in its tenth year.  It embodies the commitment of overseas Americans organizations to maintaining an ongoing and current dialogue with legislators and agencies who directly affect the lives of US citizens around the world.

With no direct representation in Washington for the millions of Americans overseas, the exchanges developed during the annual Overseas Americans Week have become increasingly crucial to giving these overseas American citizens a voice.

The joint dedication of a select group of nonpartisan overseas Americans organizations have maintained this dynamic program and developed the yearly “door-knocking” in DC into a powerful and influential campaign.

The 2011 Overseas Americans Week program is organized by the following overseas American action groups:

Americans Overseas Week is grateful for the continuing support and sponsorhip of Clements International www.clements.com, a leading insurance provider for expatriates and businesses operating internationally.
